Highlight
Anthony Todd Nichols is a licensed psychologist in the State of Minnesota. He has been Executive Director of the Family Attachment and Counseling Center, located in the Twin Cities, since 1997. The center specializes in working with trauma in adults and children and specifically in adopted children who experienced early life maltreatment. Dr. Nichols is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and other modalities. Much of his clinical work includes males who have sexual addiction issues. Dr. Nichols holds two Master's degrees in Latin American Studies and Public Affairs from the University of Texas at Austin. He obtained his doctorate in clinical psychology from Walden University. He served nine years on the Board of Directors of the Association for Treatment and Training in the Attachment of Children (ATTACh) and was a member of the Task Force on Attachment Therapy, Reactive Attachment Disorder, and Attachment Problems for the American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children (APSAC).
