Highlight
Greetings! My name is Esa and I live in a cozy apartment in Shoreview, MN. I'm fascinated by all manner of theology, philosophy, biblical studies, church history, and other odds and ends, so I attempt to spend much of my free time reading books on these topics. I also enjoy lifting weights at the gym, listening to metal music, and watching good/interesting horror, sci-fi, and/or thriller movies and shows every now and again. I've found that living a life centered on Christ imbues it with meaning, purpose, and beauty, and so my Christian faith acts as a guiding light for much of the way in which I think and do. All in all, despite its many ups and downs, I find life a fascinating venture, and I love exploring all of its various depths.

Biography
I was born in 1996 in Finland to a Finnish father and Swiss mother. I spent seven years of my childhood aboard both the Logos 2 and the Logos Hope; both missionary ships under Operation Mobilization. This was a formative set of years as it allowed me to experience much of the world (over 50 countries), and had me share life with a community of Christians from all around the globe. In between years on these ships, I also spent around five years living in Finland, thereby experiencing a more regular, terrestrial form of life. Eventually, in 2009, my family and I moved to the US, to Florence, SC, where we lived for seven years. I wrapped up middle school and high school here, having graduated the latter in 2014, and then I attended Clemson University for 2 years in pursuit of a degree in Mathematical Sciences. However, I lost my passion for this degree within a year or so, and so when my parents decided that they were going to move to Minnesota in 2016, I decided to join them in this venture. After working a few short term jobs, I eventually landed a job as Payroll Assistant at Bethel University. This then allowed me to conveniently complete my Bachelor's degree, which I received in Christian Ministries in 2020, after which I then pursued my Master's degree in Theological Studies, completing this degree at the end of 2024.

Quote
"The one, then, who has united all of us to himself, and who is both united to us and has become one with us all in his relationship to us, makes everything that is ours his own. And the chief of all the blessings he bestows on us will be submission to God, when all creation comes to be in harmony with itself, and "Every knee will bend to him, of those in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord" (Phil 2:10-11). Then, when all creation has become one body, and all have come together with each other in him by their obedience, he will offer to the Father the obedience of his own Body to himself." - Gregory of Nyssa
