Dr. Michelle Langenfeld Langenfeld served as the Superintendent of Schools and Learning for the Green Bay Area Public Schools from 2011-2020. Since retiring in 2020, Dr. Langenfeld served as an education consultant and was elected to serve on the Anoka-Hennepin Board of Education beginning her 4 year tenure in January of 2024. Prior to serving at Superintendent, Michelle served as an Associate Superintendent, Principal, Assistant Principal and Dean the Anoka-Hennepin School District. She also taught in both urban and suburban secondary schools.

Biography

Langenfeld is the superintendent of the Green Bay School District in Wisconsin. She was the former associate superintendent of Anoka-Hennepin School District. She formerly was principal at Coon Rapids Middle School, recognized for significantly closing the achievement gap. Langenfeld earlier served as assistant principal and head principal at other schools in the district after teaching middle and high school in Minneapolis, Osseo, Rosemount, and Apple Valley schools.
