Highlight
Langenfeld served as the Superintendent of Schools and Learning for the Green Bay Area Public Schools from 2011-2020. Since retiring in 2020, Dr. Langenfeld served as an education consultant and was elected to serve on the Anoka-Hennepin Board of Education beginning her 4 year tenure in January of 2024. Prior to serving at Superintendent, Michelle served as an Associate Superintendent, Principal, Assistant Principal and Dean the Anoka-Hennepin School District. She also taught in both urban and suburban secondary schools.

Biography
As a purpose-driven collaborative educational leader, Dr. Langenfeld draws on more than 30 combined years of teaching, and leading in K–12 schools. She has served as a classroom teacher, dean, assistant principal, principal, associate superintendent, and superintendent, as well as an education consultant in suburban and urban settings. She currently serves as a director on the Anoka-Hennepin School Board as well as a director on the Minnesota School Board Association and volunteers at an elementary school. She is also a member of the Higher Education Literacy Partnership. Interests include literacy, mental health, school safety and parent/family/community partnerships.
