Highlight
Dr. Tang is a professor of engineering at Bethel University. He received his Ph.D. of Engineering at the University of Toledo, Ohio. Prior to joining Bethel, Dr. Tang has worked at several universities in the United States as a postdoctoral research fellow, assistant professor, associate professor, and full professor for nearly two decades. He has taught a number of undergraduate and graduate courses in electrical engineering and computer engineering. He enjoys working with a diverse range of students, faculty, and staff. His current research interests include wireless networking, computer networking, cloud/fog computing, embedded systems, IoT, FPGA, and modeling and performance evaluation. Besides his academic experience, Dr. Tang has over ten years of full-time product design/development and management experience in the wireless manufacturing industry as a hardware engineer, team leader and department manager. Additionally, Dr. Tang is active in professional activities. He is serving or has served as an editor-in-chief, editor or guest editor for different international journals and a program committee chair/member of many international conferences. He has produced over 100 peer-reviewed research papers in his expertise areas. He is a senior member of IEEE (the world's largest technical professional organization).
