Our Programs
Nursing
In our traditional daytime nursing degree program for undergraduates, you'll gain competence in evidence-based practices and learn technical skills, nursing theory, and more so that you can provide excellent compassionate care to your patients.
Post-Baccalaureate Nursing (B.S.N.)
Through Bethel’s post-baccalaureate nursing program, you’ll learn how to provide meaningful care that promotes the health of people from diverse families, communities, and systems. Courses are offered in a blended format, meaning you’ll experience a mix of online and in-person learning. Upon graduation, you’ll be eligible to apply for the NCLEX® licensure exam for registered nurses.
Social Work (B.A.)
The social work program's mission is to prepare students for professional generalist social work practice, equipping them to be advocates of hope and change. Students learn to practice social work within a diverse world through scholarship, service, justice, and leadership, all in the context of a Christian liberal arts learning community.

You’ll gain the tools to reach your full potential as a social worker—all so you can go into the world to serve others in your community.Counseling (M.A.)
In Bethel’s M.A. in Counseling program, you’ll gain expertise in clinical mental health counseling so that you're ready to serve clients in diverse settings. Our program is accredited for Clinical Mental Health Counseling by the Council for the Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP).
Marriage and Family Therapy (M.A.)
In Bethel’s M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy program, you’ll gain expertise in clinical practice and theory—in combination with Christian theology—so that you’re ready to earn your license and provide holistic therapy in diverse settings.
Master of Social Work (MSW) (M.A.)
In Bethel’s MSW program, you’ll learn to advocate for justice in marginalized communities through compassionate, evidence-based social work practice. You’ll learn in classes focused on evidence-based models for clinical interventions, preparing you for clinical practice in response to crisis, trauma, and marginalization. The MSW program integrates core values with scholarship, service, justice, and leadership to prepare you to address social issues and affect positive change in your community and beyond.
Whether your calling leans toward clinical practice or community-based engagement, you’ll gain the necessary skills for successful social work licensure and practice in a fully online MSW program.
MBA
Bethel’s robust MBA program consists of a total of 42 credits, with 30 credits of core curriculum and 12 credits in any one of the eight concentrations. Four concentrations are offered through Bethel and four concentrations are offered through an agreement with MITx. Find the right fit for your strengths, interests, and goals.
Medical Sciences (M.S.)
Bethel’s MSMS curriculum parallels the first year of medical school, helping graduates outperform their medical school peers. Throughout the program, you’ll have access to robust performance analytics which will provide real-time reporting on your progress. This enables you to focus your studies and ensures you leave Bethel fully equipped for what’s next. A majority of MSMS graduates go onto medical school, but that’s not their only option. The MSMS serves as a firm medical science foundation that can spring-board students into a variety of medical pathways. Graduates will be prepared for further education in physician assistant, dentistry, pharmacy, and more.
Nurse-Midwifery (M.S.)
As a nurse-midwife, you’ll be prepared to work on the front lines of primary care in urban and rural settings, providing sexual and reproductive healthcare for holistic management and support of health throughout the lifespan. As our health environment changes, nurse-midwifery is projected to remain an important field that will only increase in demand. At Bethel, we are committed to promoting a diverse and inclusive midwifery workforce.
Physician Assistant (M.S.)
As a physician assistant, you will provide services as varied as healthcare itself. Our 27-month program will prepare you to provide preventative care, develop treatment plans, and perform medical procedures. You’ll also graduate with the background to teach, conduct research, or engage in healthcare administration.
Addiction Studies Certificate
Our Addiction Studies Certificate will help you get started in a social services career. You’ll learn how to apply research and evidence-based practices to your counseling practice as you assist individuals dealing with addiction.
Alcohol and Drug Counseling Certificate
Our certificate program will strengthen your counseling skills and prepare you for licensure in Minnesota as an alcohol and drug counselor
Pre-Medicine
In Bethel’s pre-med program, you’ll prepare for medical school while developing specialized knowledge in your primary major. You’ll pursue your calling in a community that excels at preparing students like you for a wide range of healthcare careers through diverse majors, endorsements, and minors.
