Prepare for your future in healthcare.

Complete your nursing program at Bethel University, one of the top nursing schools in Minnesota. Here, you’ll become skilled in the most up-to-date, evidence-based practices and receive the nursing qualifications to advance your career.

Our programs will enable you to complete a traditional undergraduate nursing degree or make a career change through an accelerated, blended BSN that makes use of your non-nursing undergraduate degree. Or earn a master’s in the only online Christian nurse-midwifery program in the state.

The mission of Bethel's Department of Nursing is to provide transformative academics in nursing education, leadership, practice, and scholarship that reflect the values of a Christ-centered community and prepare nurses to serve, with excellence, a diverse and changing society.

Our Programs

Nursing (B.S.N.)

In our traditional daytime nursing degree program for undergraduates, you'll gain competence in evidence-based practices and learn technical skills, nursing theory, and more so that you can provide excellent compassionate care to your patients.

Post-Baccalaureate Nursing (B.S.N.)

Through Bethel’s post-baccalaureate nursing program, you’ll learn how to provide meaningful care that promotes the health of people from diverse families, communities, and systems. Courses are offered in a blended format, meaning you’ll experience a mix of online and in-person learning. Upon graduation, you’ll be eligible to apply for the NCLEX® licensure exam for registered nurses.

Nurse-Midwifery (M.S.)

As a nurse-midwife, you’ll be prepared to work on the front lines of primary care in urban and rural settings, providing sexual and reproductive healthcare for holistic management and support of health throughout the lifespan. As our health environment changes, nurse-midwifery is projected to remain an important field that will only increase in demand. At Bethel, we are committed to promoting a diverse and inclusive midwifery workforce.

At Bethel, you'll find a welcoming environment for all students. Exceptional nursing faculty will guide your learning in the classroom, state-of-the-art labs and simulations, and sought-after clinical sites. When you graduate, you'll be prepared to provide holistic care that leads to better health outcomes.
