Event Description
Bethel Business Academy connects high school students who are interested in a business career with expert faculty and local business professionals in a university setting. Students will explore a variety of business careers and gain insight about personal strengths and interests, providing direction for college and career planning.
This 2 1/2-day academy begins with check-in at Getsch Hall between 3:30 and 5 p.m. on Tuesday, June 19, and ends with an awards dinner (parents included) from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 21.
At Bethel Business Academy, students will:
- Connect: Meet with department faculty and business professionals to make personal connections, discuss career path opportunities, and find out what makes Bethel's Department of Business and Economics unique.
- Explore: Work with career planning specialists to determine areas of interest, participate in an off-campus business site visit, meet with professionals in various careers, and live with a Bethel Business student to experience life as a college student.
- Develop: Work in a team with other academy students and a Bethel Business student to solve a business problem in your field of interest and compete for prizes.
