Give stock

Certificates held by a bank or broker can be transferred to Bethel University by following these steps:

  1. Contact a development officer at 651.635.8050 or development@bethel.edu to notify Bethel of an incoming stock gift and any designations or restrictions for the gift. The development officer will provide you with Bethel’s broker and account information.
  2. Contact your bank or broker and authorize them to transfer the selected securities to Bethel through Bethel’s account at U.S. Bank.
  3. Upon the receipt of your gift of securities, a development officer will reach out to you to confirm the successful completion of your gift and facilitate the delivery of a tax receipt.
