Flexibility learning


Designed for working educators, the program offers a flexible online format with yearly intensives, which can be completed online or in-person. You’ll also be able to apply your learning immediately in your current role. Courses begin every eight weeks, giving you consistent opportunities to move forward and start the program throughout the year.

Licensure preparation


The program aligns with Minnesota requirements for K-12 administrative licensure, and the licensure programs are accredited by the Minnesota Board of School Administrators. You can pursue pathways for principal, superintendent, and/or director of special education roles through coursework and field experiences that meet state competencies and internship expectations. Students who are not seeking licensure complete an individualized directed study that supports their goals.

The program can be completed completely online. You can choose between two flexible formats: a fully online option with no in-person requirements, or an online format with yearly one-week intensives. The intensives are offered in a HyFlex model, meaning you can participate either on campus or remotely. Both formats are designed to support full-time educators and offer the flexibility to fit your schedule.

Yes. The program is designed for working professionals who balance teaching, leadership roles, and personal commitments. Courses are delivered online, and new classes begin every eight weeks so you can move through the program at a steady pace.

Applicants must hold a master’s or higher degree from an accredited institution and have a graduate GPA of 3.0 or higher. Required materials include a résumé or CV, two professional references, a statement of purpose, and official transcripts. An interview with the program director may be required. Applicants must also confirm acceptance of Bethel’s Community Expectations. Those who don’t meet the GPA requirement may still be eligible for provisional admission.
