Unusual Christmas Story on ABC News Has Bethel Connection

ABC News has reported a quirky Christmas story with a Bethel connection. Liz (Abbas) Burd ’09, Bethel’s admissions event and volunteer manager, learned an unusual piece of information recently about her father and husband. Thirteen years ago her father spent one Christmas season as a Santa Claus in Maplewood Mall in Maplewood, Minn.
