Bethel University is excited to again greet visitors, alums, and students at the “Great Minnesota Get Together!” More than 75 Bethel employees from the College of Arts & Sciences, Bethel Seminary, College of Adult & Professional Studies, and Graduate School have been trained and are ready to staff the university’s booth at the Minnesota State Fair during the 12-day event. The booth is located on Block 32 in the Education Building just north of the main entrance (MN State Fair map) and will be open from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. daily between August 21 and Labor Day, September 1.
Visitors to Bethel’s booth in the Education Building will receive a Bethel core values wristband, available in seven different colors and including one of the university’s core values: Christ-follower, character-builder, truth-seeker, learner, salt and light, reconciler, and world-changer.

Bethel Alum’s Art Showcased at Fair
Bethel Alum Tristan Krysta ’14 has been commissioned by the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) to create the 2014 River Trash Sculpture which she has called, “Lepus Ex Apparatus” (Rabbit from the Machine). The art represents a variety of materials that are found during river cleanup and is displayed next to the DNR duck pond at the Minnesota State Fair.
