Bethel Volleyball Receives At-Large Bid to NCAA Playoffs

The Bethel University volleyball team is headed to the NCAA Playoffs.

The Bethel University volleyball team learned on November 9 that they were selected to the 2015 NCAA Playoffs as an at-large team. The Royals will head to Whitewater, Wisconsin, to take on 2014 NCAA Division III Champion Hope College, located in Holland, Michigan.

The postseason appearance is Bethel's fifth since 1999 and their second since 2011. Their previous trips came in 2007, 2001, and 1999. Bethel is 3-4 in their four previous appearances.

The match between the Flying Dutch (24-6) and Royals (22-9) is scheduled for November 12 with a time yet to be determined. The winner of these two opponents will face the winner of UW-Eau Claire and Gustavus Adolphus Friday.
