Molly Wickam is a program director for the M.A. in Teaching program in the Graduate School and the Business Management (B.A.), Finance (B.S.), and Accounting (B.S.) programs in the College of Adult & Professional Studies.

Bethel’s College of Adult & Professional Studies B.S. in Business Management program has had many things to celebrate after their recent accreditation by The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs. Now, both the B.S. in Business Management program and M.A. in Teaching program are celebrating their program director, Molly Wickam, as the recipient of two competitive awards.

Wickam, a program director and associate professor at Bethel, has an impressive and extensive background with business and teaching. She plays a role as a mentor, role model, and has created two graduate education licensure endorsement programs and three adult undergraduate degrees.

Because of her experience and desire for innovation in education, Wickam was chosen for two competitive awards: the 2020 North Central Business Education Association's Outstanding Contributions to Business Education by an Administrator or Supervisor of Business Education and the 2020 Teacher Educator of the Year by Minnesota’s Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE).

The ACTE awards winners at the state, regional, and national levels. The award is given by the ACTE to teacher educators who have demonstrated true innovation for teaching education, improvement of leadership in ACTE, and a commitment to preparing teachers. Wickam is a nominee for the regional award.

Wickam has a track record of accolades, having also been recognized for Outstanding Doctoral Research in Business Education in 2017. She was also invited to attend the Innovator’s Summit at the White House in 2016.
