National Prayer Initiative
Connecting individuals and teams of people across the country to pray regularly for Bethel University.
The Bethel University National Prayer Initiative exists to present the mission and people of Bethel University to the Lord in regular prayer. Members of the National Prayer Initiative may pray by themselves or gather a team of friends (in person or virtually) to pray over the list of prayer requests and praises. Prayer lists are shared with National Prayer Initiative members every other month.
Prayer Team Members
Members of the National Prayer Initiative have various Bethel connections: family related to current and former students, alumni, donors, pastors and friends. Our prayer team members range from Board of Trustee members to grandparents of current students.
Many have prayed for Bethel for years, while some have just begun to intentionally pray for the university. Bethel’s Prayer Initiative has more than 1400 individuals who have committed to being Prayer Partners. They too believe that Bethel University is fulfilling the mission to which it has been called—the mission of God changing lives through a ministry in Christian higher education. We are grateful for those who participate in this way.
Praying People Make a Difference
A note from President Ross Allen:
I am humbled by your prayers for Bethel. The kingdom impact of what God does through our ministry is critically important for the church, a broken world, and Christ’s glory. God uses our work at Bethel to shape us, mold us, and most enjoyably, draw us nearer to Him. We ask you to join us as we seek His face in prayer for Bethel — for the Spirit to move among our students, and for wisdom for us to serve His mission well.
Your participation in the National Prayer Initiative is an encouragement to Bethel's leadership, as well as to faculty, staff, and students.
