My favorite things about Bethel University

The best part about Bethel is the commitment to learning, beyond just area content - but individual growth as well. This commitment is also seen in the warm and welcoming nature of students, staff, and faculty, which creates a unique environment for a university campus.

My favorite things about the Twin Cities and life

The Twin Cities is a great place to live and raise a family. There are many different things to do within the metro, as well as short driving distance to great scenic areas throughout Minnesota (especially the North Shore). While the cold of winter is not always ideal, the summers more than make up for those sparse cold snaps.

My favorite thing about being a Student Success Advisor

As a former educator, I always enjoyed working one-on-one with students. I personally have a strong passion to improve myself through learning and education, and to share that passion with others brings me great joy. In addition, it is rewarding to support students as they persist through balancing their own education, career, family, and personal well-being.

Before working at Bethel

I taught middle and high school social studies in a St. Paul charter school (aka cat wrangler extraordinaire).
