Each type of loan has a unique process for borrowing funds. As you take out loans, borrow only what you need and only what you can repay.
Direct Subsidized and Unsubsidized Loans
If your financial aid offer says you may borrow a Direct Subsidized or Unsubsidized Loan, learn about how to apply and complete the process.
Direct Parent PLUS Loans
If you need to borrow more than the maximum Subsidized and Unsubsidized loan amount, contact our office to determine your PLUS (Parent) Loan eligibility.
If you're eligible, you can learn more about how to apply and complete the process.
Private Loans
If you're not eligible for Direct Subsidized or Unsubsidized Loans, your offer letter will include private loan eligibility. Learn more about how to apply and complete the process for private loans.
