Licensure Information

The required coursework in Bethel Seminary's M.F.T. program meets all academic requirements for licensure as a marriage and family therapist in the state of Minnesota and most other states. However, you’ll need additional supervised clinical practice and the passing of a licensing examination to obtain actual licensure.

Schedule

You’ll take most courses on the St. Paul campus during the afternoon and evening, with a few courses offered as weeklong intensives, typically in June. You’ll also participate in a 300-hour, 9-month practicum to apply your new skills. Want more information on schedules and classes? Contact our enrollment counselors
