You’ll gain valuable hands-on experience working in a clinic that matches your career goals. Our department has strong connections with over 30 clinical agencies in the Twin Cities and seven-plus public health departments, gaining experience in all areas of nursing.
You’ll have the opportunity to become a departmental lab teaching assistant (TA) and gain experience working alongside professors.

We are hosting an on-site evaluation team from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) on April 8-10, 2026, as part of the accreditation reevaluation for the undergraduate and post-baccalaureate BSN programs. We invite students, faculty, employers, and the practice community to provide input to CCNE. All communication should be directed to thirdpartycomments@ccneaccreditation.org. Written and signed third-party comments will be accepted by CCNE until March 18, 2026.
