Transformation starts here. In Bethel's M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy program, you’ll prepare to become an effective therapist who treats patients with skill and compassion. In addition to gaining a strong understanding of the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental and emotional disorders, you’ll learn to utilize a relational approach and partner with patients in the healing process. With the expertise you develop, you’ll be prepared to help clients resolve conflicts, strengthen their family system, and journey toward a place of restoration and hope.

M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy

At Bethel, you’ll expand your cultural intelligence so that you’re prepared to address the issues and challenges of people from all backgrounds. Our M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy program is also deeply committed to social justice, which informs how we teach therapy and ministry.
