Degrees I hold:
B.A. in Communications from Bethel College, M.A. in Christian Education from Bethel Seminary
My favorite thing about Bethel University:
Relationships. I am part of a four-generation Bethel family, and I absolutely love that I can go to basically any Bethel event and see someone I know, either from my days here as a student or a related connection through a conference church or Trout Lake Camp.
My favorite thing about the Twin Cities:
The great variety of activities. From wonderful seasonal activities, to sporting events (Go Twins and Saints!), to great music venues, to delectable food options, to unique festivals, to theater and art experiences, to life “up north” on the lakes, there is no lack of things to do in the Twin Cities. Also, hotdish.
What I did before coming to Bethel:
I worked in youth ministry for 20 years, spent many summers on staff and as a volunteer at Trout Lake Camp, and most recently worked at a local nonprofit as a senior employment counselor and trainer. I also was the winner of the 2000 Northwestern Book Store Ugly Tie Contest.
