College in the Schools through Bethel University

College in the Schools

Get a head start on your college experience.

At select area high schools, you can earn college credit while completing your high school requirements through Bethel's College in the Schools (CIS) courses. CIS courses are Bethel courses offered on high school campuses taught by qualified, Bethel-approved high school instructors.

College-level academics

A Bethel faculty member works closely with the high school instructor to ensure the courses are equivalent in content and rigor to the same course taught on campus.

High school and college credit

With College in the Schools courses, you can earn both high school and college credit at the same time.

Convenient courses

You'll register for College in the Schools courses through your high school, and the classes will fit naturally with your high school schedule.

College credits at no cost

College in the Schools courses are offered at no cost to the student.

Partner schools

Bethel College in the Schools courses are currently offerred at the following high schools:

  • Minnehaha Academy
  • New Life Academy
  • Spring Lake Park High School
  • St. Paul Public High Schools
  • Stillwater High School

Students who attend these high schools can register for Bethel CIS courses at their respective schools.

If your school doesn't offer College in the Schools courses, consider PSEO or dual enrollment at Bethel. Through PSEO, Minnesota high school juniors and seniors can take Bethel courses, both online and face to face, at no cost. Through dual enrollment, high school students from outside of Minnesota can take Bethel courses at a significant discount.
