I am part of the Campus Engagement team at Bethel. We seek to create spaces on campus for students to connect and find belonging through events, small group communities, and clubs. My job specifically is to mentor and advise the incredible student leaders that make up Bethel Student Government. If you are looking for a place to lead or get plugged in on campus, shoot me an email!
Reasons I Love My Job
My greatest joy in my job is seeing the lightbulb moment in students when they discover "this is what God made me to do." I love getting to cultivate spaces and opportunities for students to try out their gifts and discover the places God may want to use them at Bethel and beyond.
Education
B.A. in Music, Bethel University; B.A. in Biblical and Theological Studies, Bethel University
Hometown
Sioux Center, Iowa
In My Free Time
You'll find me at a local coffee shop with a good friend, leading worship with my husband, hiking, or playing a nerdy board game.
Best Bethel Tradition
My favorite moment falls at the end of Welcome Week and the beginning of the first week of school at Koinonia—the first community worship experience each year. It's the first time the new student body joins voices to praise God, hear testimonies from each other, and commit the next school year to God.
