International applicants with a degree earned outside the U.S. must meet the following criteria:
- All required prerequisite courses must be taken at a regionally accredited U.S. higher education institution
- Must communicate well in English
- TOEFL Exam score: Minimum 600 paper-based, 100 Internet-based, or 250 computer-based score, or
- IELTS Exam score: Minimum 7, or
- PTE Exam score: Minimum 70
International applicants should send the following items to Bethel:
- Evaluation of foreign transcripts from NACES or CGFNS International
- Certificate of finances form*
- Sponsored funds documentation (if applicable)*
- Copy of I-94 form (applicants currently living in the U.S.)
- Copy of passport (applicants currently living in the U.S.)
- Copy of current visa
- Document of health insurance form

Permanent Resident Alien Applicants
- Copy of green card
English-Canadian Transcripts
Bethel University follows CASPA's practices in reference to English-Canadian transcripts. English transcripts provided by Canadian schools are not considered foreign and do not need to be processed as international coursework. Please contact our enrollment counselor with questions about Canadian transcripts.
