- How to Apply
All students must complete each core rotation, including Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Psychiatry, Emergency Medicine, Women's Health, and Pediatrics, as well as elective rotations to complete the clinical year. Most clinical rotations will be 4-8 weeks, but there may be variation depending on site availability, access to required patient populations, and individual student needs.
All clinical sites must have an established affiliation agreement with the Bethel University PA program. Students are required to complete a minimum of 30% of their rotations outside of the Twin Cities area. This requirement provides students with a variety of practice settings to ensure that each student receives a well-rounded education. Students in the Bethel University PA program are never required to provide or solicit their own clinical sites or preceptors.
