Medical Insurance

Bethel international students and their dependents are required to have health insurance.

Required Coverage

All students and their dependents must have:

• Medical coverage of at least $50,000 per accident or illness
• Repatriation of remains in the amount of $7,500
• A deductible not to exceed $500 per accident or illness

Obtaining Health Insurance

Bethel does not provide health insurance directly to students. There are a number of different options available online that can meet the coverage requirements outlined above. Coverage varies by visa type, so make sure you find a plan designed for an F (student) visa type. A couple of different options are:
