One-year scholarship. Students must apply each year. If you currently receive a renewable scholarship, you must reapply to receive the renewal.
Eligibility
Available to current students planning to return next year. Students must apply to the department(s) for which they wish to be considered. At the deadline, completed scholarship applications are reviewed by the designated departments. Scholarship recipients are selected by committees within each department. Both need-based and merit-based scholarships are available.
Academic requirements
Must be a College of Arts & Sciences student enrolled at least half-time in courses required for graduation, in good standing, and working toward a first bachelor's degree. Scholarships will be prorated for less-than-full-time attendance.
Deadline
February 10 each yearHow to apply
Visit my.bethel.edu and log in to Banner from your main page on MyBethel. Then log in to Bethel's self-service Banner system. Click the Financial Aid tab, then the Departmental Scholarships link and answer a few simple questions. Be sure to apply for scholarships related to your major, as well as those offered by financial aid, student life, and campus ministries. Submit your application before the firm deadline of Monday, February 10, 2025.

Available scholarship descriptions are found in the academic catalog each year. Visit the 2024-2025 catalog to view the current listings. Please note that students do not apply for individual scholarships but submit applications to the appropriate departments when the application period opens. After the February 10 deadline, applications are reviewed by the individual departments. In late April, the financial aid office will notify students of scholarship selections.
