Summer plus August Housing (May 26-August 23)

If you're approved to stay for August, you'll remain in your summer room until your fall room is ready. Please block off the week of July 28-August 2 as you will need to move within 24-hours once you're notified that your fall room is ready.
Summer housing eligibility
- You must be in good standing with the University to live on campus for the summer.
- Spring graduates are allowed to live on campus for the summer (must move out by August 2).

You must move into your fall room by August 2, and you will receive specific communication of when to do so by the summer housing staff.
Costs
Cost for August housing is $390 for the three-week session. Employee discount applies, if eligible. This is a separate charge from May 26-August 2 housing and posts to your Bethel student account on July 14.
For students in an early arrival group (i.e. football, soccer, RA staff, etc.):
- Weeks start and end on Saturdays. If your group arrives mid-week, you are responsible for the full week. A c
redit will be applied to any full weeks after group arrival date.
Apply for housing
Important Note: You must give a two-week notice for any changes made to the end date of the summer housing application. You are responsible for charges for those full two weeks. You may cancel your summer housing application by emailing residence-life@bethel.edu. You will be charged a $75 Late Cancellation fee if you cancel after Sunday, May 11.
- Complete the summer housing application. The application opens on Monday, March 24 and closes at the end of day on Sunday, May 11.
- A $50 administrative fee will be applied to your bill if applying past the application closing date.
Choose your roommates (optional)
If you would like to choose your own direct roommate, you can do that through the application link between March 24 and May 11. Don't have a roommate? You'll be assigned with 1-4 other summer housing students.
Rooms will be pre-assigned by Residence Life by May 16.
Moving in
All summer housing check ins (summer room) and checkouts (spring room) must take place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Monday, May 26. No late check-in times—plan accordingly! You'll first need to pick up your key for your summer room at the Wingblade shack, then move all your belongings in, then go back to your spring hall for your checkout with an RA from that hall (be sure this is scheduled ahead of time). Your spring room must be completely emptied and cleaned prior to your checkout time.
Moving out
You will be notified when your fall room is ready and given a moving date. You are responsible for setting up a time to check out and turn in your key. Contact your summer housing staff member at least 2 days in advance to set up your time.
