Emotional and Behavioral Disorders License, K-12

The Emotional and Behavioral Disorders License, K-12 is designed to help students gain the teaching expertise to equip students with emotional and behavioral disorders with skills that will last a lifetime. You’ll complete the education courses required to meet Minnesota standards to serve K-12 students who have been identified with mild to severe emotional and behavior disorders. This program has approval through the Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB)

Per the U.S. Department of Education Regulation 34 CFR 668.43 (a) (5) (v), we have determined that our curriculum meets educational requirements for becoming licensed as a teacher in Minnesota. Please refer to the full list of determinations regarding all fifty states as well as the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and the Northern Mariana Islands for any wishing to become a licensed teacher.
