Find support, opportunities, and community through initiatives that reflect Bethel’s commitment to inclusive excellence and belonging.

Bethel’s commitment to inclusive excellence is lived out through partnerships, resources, and programs that provide development opportunities and support for students and employees. Together, these efforts help create a Christ-centered community where everyone can grow and thrive.

Student opportunities

  • The Bethel/Frogtown and Summit-University Community Partnership provides students with the opportunity to live, learn, serve, and engage with the Frogtown community in St. Paul.
  • The Office of Accessibility Resources and Services ensures that students with disabilities have equal access and opportunity to the university and its programs.
  • Our Intercultural Programs and Services exist to create space for all students to engage in intercultural experiences and, if desired, seek support for challenges that may stem from being part of or supporting the experiences of students who may face additional barriers.
    • Cultural Connections Center is a Christ-centered space where students of all backgrounds connect across cultures, foster belonging, and pursue shalom together.
    • Kingdom Culture (formerly United Cultures of Bethel) is a student community of connection, celebration, and education, offering subgroups that affirm cultural identity, build understanding, and foster Christ-centered unity.
    • Student-led clubs and organizations exist to provide opportunities to connect, explore shared interests, and build community across campus.
  • Our International Programs and Services support international and third culture students as they adjust to living and learning in the United States.
  • The Shalom Seminar is a training for all new employees that provides a biblical understanding of reconciliation and shalom. It explores areas of needed growth often hidden from our awareness that keep God’s people from living remarkable Christianity and modeling Christ-centered reconciliation and community.

Scholarships

  • The Jeremiah 29 (J29) Scholarship empowers service-minded students from a variety of backgrounds to grow as leaders, scholars, and reconcilers in their communities. Through financial support, mentorship, and leadership development, J29 Scholars are equipped to thrive academically, serve with purpose, and create lasting change on campus and beyond.
  • The George Floyd Scholarship supports the education of the next generation of leaders committed to justice, service, and reconciliation.
