We value the role Bethel parents play in their student’s educational experience. Each year, several Bethel parents serve as volunteers through our Parent and Family Association, helping us understand the parent experience through their unique lens. Volunteers seek to strengthen the relationship between the university and parents and families of current undergraduate students through participating in one or more parent programs, share parent concerns and ideas with the President and other university leaders, and positively represent the university to others.
Who
Parent and Family Association Leadership Team members are passionate about supporting Bethel as a Christ-centered university, have a currently enrolled undergraduate student, and serve for one year with the possibility of being asked to serve an additional year. These leaders know the value of a Bethel education and are eager to share their Bethel story with other parents.
What
Parent and Family Association Leadership Team members will choose 1-2 areas in which they are interested in participating as a member of the Bethel University Parent and Family Association Leadership Team:
- Admissions Advocate
- Summer Send-Off Host/Co-Host
- Campus Events Host
- Off Campus Volunteer Partner
