Here are important financial aid dates and deadlines for the 2024-2025 academic year:

December, 2023

• Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) available for 2024-2025

January 15, 2024

• Application deadline for Finance Scholarships

January 31, 2024

• Application deadline for the Faith in Action Scholarships
• Application deadline for the Fight for Something Scholarships

February 1, 2024

• Application deadline for the Music Performance Scholarships

February 10, 2024

• Departmental Scholarship applications are due for returning students

February 15, 2024

• Application deadline for Actuarial Science & Finance Scholarships

March 1, 2024

• Application deadline for Holman Chemistry Scholarships

Mid April, 2024

• Bethel starts preparing/sending financial aid offers for new/prospective student for the upcoming school year.

April 15, 2024

• Priority deadline for new students to apply for financial aid for the upcoming academic year. (Later applications will be processed, but may receive reduced funding).

May, 2024

• Bethel starts sending financial aid offers for returning students.

May 15, 2024

• Student Employment Application due for new students
• Priority deadline for returning students to apply for financial aid for the upcoming academic year.

June 1, 2024

• Application deadline for the George Floyd Scholarship

July 1, 2024

• We recommend all families submit verification materials by July 1, prior to starting the fall term.
• Begin all loan processes by this date to ensure funds will be received in time for the beginning of fall term.

July 15, 2024

• Enrollment opens for the optional monthly payment plan for fall semster

August 1, 2024

• Partnership Scholarship forms and matching funds checks due for church partnership scholarships.

August 25, 2024

• Bill due for fall 2024 semester. Classes begin Tuesday, September 3rd.
• Enrollment Checklist due

September 3, 2024

• Fall classes begin

September 17, 2024

• The Financial Aid Office begins adjusting aid for students who do not meet eligibility requirements (e.g. enrolled less than full time; and MN State Grant adjustments)

December 1, 2024

• Last day to request a federal loan for Fall 2024 (Direct Subsidized, Unsubsidized, or PLUS)

December 13, 2024

• Last day to submit a special circumstances appeal form for Fall 2024.

January 3, 2025

• Enrollment opens for the optional monthly payment plan for Spring semester

January 25, 2025

• Bill due for spring semester. Spring classes begin Monday, February 3rd.
• Enrollment Checklist due for Spring 2025 semester

February 10, 2025

• Departmental Scholarship Applications are due for returning students

February 19, 2025

• Bethel begins adjusting aid for Spring 2025 for students who do not meet eligibility requirements (e.g., enrolled less than full time, and Minnesota State Grant adjustments).

April 11, 2025

• Private loans take at least 30 days to process so if you need a private loan for Spring 2025 be sure to apply by this date.

May 9, 2025

• Last day to request a federal loan for Spring 2025 (Direct Subsidized, Unsubsidized, or PLUS).

May 23, 2025

• Last day to submit a special circumstances appeal form for Spring 2025.

June 30, 2025

• Deadline to complete the 2024-2025 FAFSA
