Leadership Team
Parents and Families
We value the role Bethel parents play in their students’ educational experiences. Each year, several Bethel parents volunteer through our Parent and Family Association, helping us understand the parent experience through their unique perspectives. Volunteers seek to strengthen the relationship between the university and the parents and families of current undergraduate students by participating in one or more parent programs, sharing concerns and ideas with the president and other university leaders, and positively representing the university to others.
Who
Parent and Family Association Leadership Team members are passionate about supporting Bethel as a Christ-centered university. They must have a currently enrolled undergraduate student and commit to serving for one year, with the possibility of being invited to serve an additional year. These leaders understand the value of a Bethel education and are eager to share their Bethel stories with other parents.
What
Parent and Family Association Leadership Team members will choose one or two areas in which they are interested in participating as part of the Bethel University Parent and Family Association Leadership Team:
- Admissions advocate
- Summer Send-Off host/co-host
- Campus events host
- Off-campus volunteer partner
