Benefits-eligible employees are eligible to sign up for health insurance coverage. Bethel's health insurance plan is administered by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota with Coupe Health. The cost of the coverage is shared by both Bethel and the employee.
Plan options
Employees have two plans to choose from:
- Preferred Provider Organization Plan (PPO)
- High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) with a Health Savings Account (HSA)

Total Care Option (TCO)
Bethel University is proud to offer TCO, offered through Healia, a unique health benefit that covers up to $6,000 of your healthcare costs when you enroll in your spouse’s health insurance plan. To sign up for an account, you just need the ID number on your insurance card.
